New Job Opportunities

Marketable Population

HIIP is a new international industrial facility in Iraq and has an overseas network that is advantageous for export. Highway 1 and Routes 10, 11, 12, and 23 through HIIP provide direct links to Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Syria. The railway connecting from Basra to Baghdad and Jordan, passes through HIIP and further strengthens its role as an inland logistic hub. The Al Taqaddum Airport, which is 10 minutes away, is adequate to handle international air logistics.

The internal network among HIIP's tenant facilities is also efficiently managed through integrated management of energy, communication, transportation, industry, research, and environment to produce maximum effects with limited resources. Joint marketing and management support between tenants creates a new industrial ecosystem. HIIP enables tenants to work conveniently by supporting efficient production and sales through networks within and outside the city.

The enhanced economic performance of participating businesses will make Industrial Park a powerful economic development tool for communities. It is likely to attract leading-edge global corporations and open niches for new or expanding local ventures. As a result, companies in the region gain new clients for services provided and buyers for products made by the new firms, transitioning from reliance on import to local production.

HIIP will reduce many sources of pollution and waste, and decrease demand for natural resources. The tenants can reduce their environmental burden through a more innovative approach, including pollution prevention, energy efficiency, water management, resource recovery, and other environmental management methods and technologies.

As the Industrial Park generates an environment for businesses to easily move in, close proximity between industrial clusters and residential complexes leads to job searching according to preference and expertise while newer industries contribute to more job creations. The number of new jobs created by the HIIP development is expected to be over 100,000, and will present abundance and happiness to the residents.

"The economic engine that brightens the future for young adults."
